Hey guys!!!
Things have been absolutely nuts over the past couple months! I have been adjusting to life with TWO kids (still seems totally unreal) and it has definitely been an adjustment. We've also been working on figuring out what the Lord has next for our family. I've been drowning in paper work and the general bureaucracy of higher education. Not to mention also drowning in spit up and breastmilk poo.
I was also able to get my hands on a computer! So more blogs in the future, yay!!
SO, here is an update on things in our lives. Changes, news, what the Lord is doing, etc.
Jacob
First of all, Jacob Israel, my sweet little "born on wheels" baby is now 7 weeks old! We are still breastfeeding (yay!), cloth diapering (double yay!!), and baby wearing (because oh my is it the most amazing thing). Jacob has gained over 6 pounds and grown 3 inches. He has great neck and leg muscles. He smiles and even gives a little giggle now and then!
We visited the chiropractor last week for a little adjustment and discovered slight torticollis in the right side of his neck. So, prayers for that as we continue to do stretches.
School & Moving
That's right Dentonites! The Morrison's are moving back to Denton!
In April I started feeling led to return to school. After 3 years of being out of college this was scary / exciting / and a bunch of other things all at once. So, I reapplied to Texas Woman's and got reaccepted! It is amazing how everything has fallen into place with it. I will be starting classes June 1st working towards my Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies 4th - 8th Generalist. I am also looking at getting certified to teach family and consumer sciences as well.
We will be moving back to Denton on June 1st! Anyone willing to help me and Cedrick move boxes and a couple larger pieces of furniture, that would be such a blessing!
I am so excited to be back where everything I could possibly need is within walking distance! Yay!
Sammy
Sammy is doing absolutely amazing at being a big brother. He adores Jacob more than anything in the whole wide world. He is growing and learning how to be mommy's helper.
He will start half day pre-k in the fall, and I will be supplementing their curriculum at home.
He is very excited to move right next door to a playground as well!
Walk with the Lord
With everything that has been going on, I let my focus shift away from the Lord for a while. Being overwhelmed with my family and everything going on... I let those things consume me instead of looking towards Him for assistance and things. Lesson learned.
Seeking repentance and forgiveness can be such a challenge but is totally worth it. (Duh!)
So please be lifting me up. (:
